SA 2009-2010 Budget Takeaways

A few things to remember about the SA: • The HBS Student Association is a non-profit organization independent from HBS administration solely dedicated to serving you, the HBS student body o The SA budgets and targets a break-even budget ever year, and does NOT seek to earn a profit o The SA (as an organization and as leadership) is subject to annual audits from PWC • The SA Executive Committee has been hard at work this summer to ensure the Best EC Year Ever o Just because the economy is down doesn’t mean our level of service will be: we are looking for creative ways to deliver the things you like and offer new breakthrough initiatives across social, products, and student advocacy o We are trying to do more with less, with sponsorships down almost half from peak years • The SA Office is dedicated to bringing the products you want and need at the lowest prices possible o We are investigating new products, such as language classes and on-site tailored apparel, that we’ll launch this Fall Please take a look at the file here: [2009-2010 SA Budget Update](http://sa.hbs.edu/page_attachments/0000/0282/Student_Association_09-10_Budget_Deck_-_Aug_2009.pdf)
